Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fifth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing, transport and health care. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 69,000 and is culturally rich with 17.4% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.
Group Fitness Instructor
Sessional Rate: $47.56 to $80.51 per session (rate dependent on level of experience, includes 25% casual loading and sessional allowance)

We seek reliable and dedicated instructors who can work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and flexibility.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III or IV in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader Qualification
* Current CPR and First Aid certification
* Registration with Physical Activity Australia or AUSactive
We have opportunities for instructors trained in Les Mills Programs, Aqua Aerobics, and circuit-based classes. These sessions run between 6:00 AM and 7:30 PM. Please include your availability in your cover letter when applying.

Note: This position is subject to a 6 month qualifying period in accordance with the Fair Work Australia minimum employment period. During the qualifying period employees will be provided with appropriate on-going induction, support, assistance, resources and training to enable them to meet the required performance standards for the position.
