Following a recent acquisition, our team is growing, and we're looking for passionate Collections Officers to help us shape the future of customer support and credit services. To support the growing portfolio, Allied Credit has engaged Launch to recruit and onboard the new team.

This Collections Officer role in early arrears (1–30 days) or late arrears (31+ days), is your opportunity to be part of a high-performing team and make an impact in a growing business.

This role offers flexible working arrangements from Monday to Friday, providing a great work-life balance as you work from home three days per week.

What You'll Be Doing

* Managing a portfolio of accounts in early or late arrears, utilising a range of systems, including a dialer system to facilitate calls to customers
* Managing both inbound and outbound calls with empathy whilst maintaining KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)
* Negotiating and setting up affordable payment arrangements that support both customer outcomes and business goals
* Handling customer correspondence, updating records, and escalating at-risk accounts when necessary
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, including NCCP, Privacy Act, and ASIC RG 165
* Collaborating with internal teams and contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

* Previous collections, hardship, loss recovery, customer service or call centre experience or tertiary qualification in a relevant field (completed or ongoing)
* Strong communication, negotiation, and emotional intelligence skills
* Ability to manage conversations with care, empathy, and resilience
* High attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
* Ability to follow processes, meet KPIs, and work within a fast-paced team environment
* Previous experience working in a regulated environment with Financial Services or Automotive Finance experience highly regarded
