Overview
St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking an Oncology/Hematology CMO for a 12‐month fixed‐term contract commencing May 2026. The CMO will deliver medical care to Medical Oncology and Haematology outpatients in the Ambulatory Care Centre and support inpatient services at St Vincent's Private Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care to outpatient and inpatient oncology and haematology patients under the supervision of oncologists and haematologists.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively with nursing staff, allied health, clerical staff and the multidisciplinary team.
* Support the Ambulatory Care Centre by delivering care to outpatients, assisting the Nursing Unit Manager and contributing to service development.
* Participate in education activities and support the professional development of team members.
Qualifications
* Registered Practitioner Specialist with AHPRA and relevant Oncology/Hematology credential.
* Experience in Oncology or Haematology clinical practice.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain collaborative relationships with all multidisciplinary team members.
* Ability to work flexibly within the facility, plan and coordinate patient care, and use management systems effectively.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation.
