About the Role As the Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will play a key role in carrying out research and development on reconfigurable intelligent metasurface and multi-beamforming arrays for environmental sensing. You will contribute to the proposal composition for grant and industrial projects and co-supervise PhD students. You will help to strengthen the EIL’s world-leading position, assist with creating new partnerships with industry and achieve significant research impact via research translation. The successful applicant will also have; Fulfilment of all requirements for award of a PhD in communications/electronics/electrical engineering or a related discipline at the time of appointment Experience in publishing high-quality research papers in top IEEE journals and international conferences Experience in research on antennas and propagation Experience in antenna simulation, array synthesis, and measurements Ability and/or demonstrable potential to progress and complete research grants and projects Evidence of contributing to teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate levels Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $92,761 to $112,977 pa (Level A) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. This position is full-time and an appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 2 years.
