Regional Education Manager
Part-time (19 hours per week) | ACT Surrounds
The Regional Education Manager works closely with the Clinical Governance and Quality team, Operational Leaders, People and Culture and the broader Learning and Development function. The role partners with Residential Managers, care teams, and clinical leaders to identify education needs and deliver learning solutions that strengthen practice and service delivery. Externally, the role collaborates with residents, families, allied health professionals, external service providers, and regulatory and professional bodies. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role supports shared accountability for safe, effective, and person-centred care.
What you'll do
Assess education and training needs across Residential Aged Care Homes and Home Care services
Design and deliver high-quality clinical and non-clinical education aligned to best practice and organisational standards
Develop flexible learning approaches that meet the needs of diverse learners
Provide hands-on coaching and support to Registered Nurses and care teams
Contribute to the development of education pathways and learning resources in partnership with Learning and Development
Support compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

What you'll bring
· Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
· Minimum five years post-registration clinical experience
· Experience in education design, delivery, and evaluation
· Experience supporting clinical practice and workforce capability in aged-care
· Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain
· Postgraduate qualifications in adult education, aged-care, palliative care or mental health (desirable)
