About the opportunity:
* Lead and deliver structural engineering projects aligned to business strategy, market trends, and customer requirements.
* Provide technical and strategic leadership to achieve high‐quality, compliant, and commercially sound design outcomes.
* Define project strategies, design approaches, and risk‐mitigation plans to optimise cost, schedule, and quality.
* Perform structural analysis and oversee engineering designs, reports, drawings, and technical documentation.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery.
* Drive continuous improvement of structural products, systems, and processes through research and analysis.
* Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
* Support product development, testing, and issue resolution while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
About you:
* Civil or structural engineering background.
* At least 5 years of proven experience in structural engineering within the manufacturing or construction industry.
* Demonstrated project‐management capability, effectively managing scope, timelines, and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and outcomes.
* Strong customer‐service and relationship‐building skills.
* Self‐driven and autonomous, yet collaborative and reliable team player.
* Knowledge of residential construction and steel frame is highly regarded.
* Ability to travel interstate as required.
