GP practice requiring an exceptional medical receptionist to join its busy practice. Experience and flexibility are essential.
The centre operates 7 days a week, excluding Public Holidays.
The role includes (but is not limited to):
1. Patient management - welcoming, prioritising, and appointment scheduling
2. Liaison with Doctors, Practice Manager, and RNs
3. Medicare, DVA, and private billing
4. Incoming & outgoing mail & accurate scanning
5. Management of patient electronic records
6. Accounts and receipting
7. Cleanliness and restocking of consult rooms & surgery
Experience & attributes:
1. Previous medical reception experience
2. Flexibility of availability for all shifts
3. Fast, accurate computer skills (Best Practice experience highly regarded)
4. Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail & work under pressure
5. Desire to learn new skills, e.g., sterilising, cosmetic services
6. Professional, well-presented image
7. A positive attitude and lots of energy
8. Experience with Best Practice Software is an advantage
