Engineering Manager - Enterprise AI Solution Enablement — Macquarie Group
As part of the Banking and Financial Services AI First strategy, join an AI Engineering team dedicated to building and enabling leading-edge Enterprise AI solutions to deliver best-in-class banking experiences for more than 2 million Australians. You will lead AI innovation, guide architecture and technology strategy, and build a customer-centric, reliable AI-powered product portfolio. You will hire, mentor, and develop engineers, foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and psychological safety, and own incident management and continuous improvement.
What role will you play?
As the leader of a world-class AI engineering team, you will be responsible for hiring, mentoring, and developing talented engineers, while fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and psychological safety. You will drive the end-to-end development of AI-powered products, overseeing design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. You will shape the AI technology strategy by providing technical leadership and guidance on architecture, ensuring long-term success. You will champion engineering excellence by maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and security, and own the reliability and uptime of applications and models. You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering leaders to solve complex problems in financial services and take ownership of incident management, post-mortems, and continuous improvement.
What You Offer

* You're a clear and compelling communicator: can articulate a technical vision and align product, data science, and technology stakeholders to drive results
