Your key responsibilities:
Develop and nurture high-level relationships across Queensland Health, including HHSs, other Queensland Government agencies, and key stakeholders across the health sector to influence and nurture customer communication maturity.
Provide expert advice and leadership in shaping communications strategy and delivery, demonstrating strategic thinking and exercising independent judgement.
Develop, implement, and evaluate a communications strategy.
Skilfully negotiate with internal colleagues and external customers to facilitate strategic assessment and triaging of both planned and unplanned communications, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
Key suitability:
Demonstrated experience in delivering significant or complex communication, media or engagement projects within agreed budgets and timeframes, ensuring all output is aligned to strategic priorities.
High level communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Excellent management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of numerous competing priorities.
High level analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a communication and/or project/product delivery context.
