Overview
This position will repair, replace, maintain, or alter pipelines and reticulation systems through secure work practices and to a standard required by the Australian Standards Association.
This role will work from our Garbutt Operations Centre.
Qualifications
Mandatory
Demonstrated experience in pipelaying and pipeline maintenance within the construction industry, including plan interpretations and experience with large diameter pipes.
Knowledge of the W.A.S.A Standards.
Good knowledge of industry standards, procedures, policies, and operational methods.
Customer Service Skills commensurate with this classification level.
Problem solving abilities and skills commensurate with this classification level.
Demonstrated literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to the position.
Demonstrated ability to operate minor plant and power tools e.g. oxy welders, drills, diamond saws and quick-cut saws.
Current "C" class driver's licence.
Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD).
Qualifications (Desirable)
Demonstrated experience in internal stores and purchase procedures.
MR, Dogman and / or crane chaser license.
Knowledge of Water/Wastewater internal policies and procedures.
