Job Requirements
About you
You will bring a mix of strategic thinking and operational capability, along with a genuine passion for supporting people and enabling positive culture.
We're looking for someone with:
* Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence senior leaders.
* Strong background in Learning or Organisation Development, ideally with experience transitioning into generalist HR — or a strong desire to do so.
* Experience delivering P&C operations within a complex environment.
* Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation.
* Experience improving systems, performance or learning frameworks.
* Tertiary qualifications in HR or related disciplines would be ideal.

Job Responsibilities
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Sustainability, the People & Culture Manager leads the day‐to‐day delivery of P&C operations while driving improvements to our people practices.
You will partner closely with leaders across the business to deliver high‐quality services across:
People & Culture Business Partnering
* Support leaders to build inclusive, high‐performing teams aligned with Lochard values.
* Provide timely, pragmatic people advice to leaders and employees on a range of P&C areas including resourcing, talent management, employee relations and remuneration and benefits.
* Coach leaders in capability development and oversee our performance management framework.
Learning & Culture Development
* Develop and lead Lochard's flagship leadership development programs
* Lead company‐wide learning frameworks aligned with organisational capability priorities.
* Drive engagement initiatives and action planning.
Workforce Resourcing & Talent Management
* Improve hiring capability and contribute to strong candidate experience and onboarding.
* Support succession planning and internal mobility.
Payroll & Remuneration Oversight
* Provide governance and oversight of payroll processes.
* Support job evaluation, remuneration reviews and incentive programs.
* Oversee effective use of HR systems, reporting and workforce insights.
* Lead improvements to people processes, tools and policies.
