The Company A well-known sports and entertainment business based in the East is seeking a hands-on payroll supervisor. You will be reporting to the Head of Finance and working alongside a payroll officer, where adaptability, attention to detail, and a calm approach to deadlines are key. The role: Processing multiple pay runs for permanent and casual staff Fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles Onboarding new staff and processing terminations Super calculations Processing leave entitlements Answer payroll queries PAYE tax reconciliations What we are looking for: At least 2 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including time and attendance systems Proven experience managing a computerised payroll platform and a strong understanding of payroll principles Knowledge of PAYE, payroll tax, superannuation, workers compensation, and relevant employment legislation Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and reconcile payroll data Ability to interpret and apply employment terms outlined in legislation, awards, and internal policies Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment This is an on-site position.
