**Overview of the team and roles**
The Regulatory Policy team provides advice as to the policy intent and appropriate implementation of legislation and related instruments concerning Comcare's regulatory activities, in relation to the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 [the WHS Act] and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 [the WHS Regulations].
The APS 6 Policy Officer and EL1 Assistant Director contribute to the continuous improvement of Comcare's regulatory frameworks and activities, in relation to the WHS Act and WHS Regulations. You will be involved in researching and analysing information to support the development of legislative instruments such as regulations and codes of practice, developing appropriate guidance materials for the jurisdiction and providing policy advice to internal and external stakeholders.
