We are seeking a talented and motivated Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing the network infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure network operations by proactively monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing systems to support mission-critical activities. This role is based out of Pittsburgh, PA. The individual will primarily work at our global headquarters in Pittsburgh, but some travel within the US will be required.
Configure, install, and maintain Layer 2/3 switches, routers, wireless access points, SD_WAN/VPN devices, and telecommunication systems.
Troubleshoot complex network issues across a variety of devices and configurations.
Configure routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and manage IPv4/IPv6-based networks.
Maintain and update IT documentation, including procedures, configurations, and support guides.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, helpdesk staff, and other IT teams to resolve network-related issues and inquiries.
Train users in network operations and best practices.
Position Requirements:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
This role demands an understanding of enterprise network architecture, including Layer 2/3 switching, and routing protocols.
Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Knowledge of broadcast standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SMPTE 2110, ATSC, FCC) is a plus.
