The Role
We're seeking a highly experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong SmartComm experience to support a major enterprise client undergoing a significant uplift of its customer communication platforms. This role requires a blend of analytical strength, technical understanding, and the ability to engage effectively with both business and development teams.
You will gather and refine requirements, support solution design, validate outputs, and work end‑to‑end across SmartComm‑based communication workflows. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role suited to someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys solving complex problems collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements for SmartComm solutions.
Design and validate customer communication workflows, templates, and document generation rules.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure accurate and high‑quality delivery.
Analyse integration patterns, REST API interactions, and system dependencies.
Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross‑team communication.
Produce detailed solution documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate end‑to‑end testing, defect triage, and validation activities.
Support continuous improvement of CCM processes, standards, and delivery practices.
What You'll Need
Experience in technical business analysis within complex environments.
Strong hands‑on experience with SmartComm or similar Customer Communications Management (CCM) platforms.
SmartComm certification and practical delivery experience (essential).
Ability to design and validate document templates, workflows, and communication logic.
Understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and system interactions.
Experience working with developers and QA teams in Agile delivery environments.
Minimum 3 years' consulting experience highly desirable.
Background in application QA or development is advantageous.
Strong documentation, communication, and estimation capabilities.
