Remote Indigenous Health experience is essential for this critical role that will challenge your skillset, importance on treating chronic health and providing care in remote settings. Support is provided by AHPs and nursing staff, with other GPs/DMOs in the referral hospital, and the role involves extensive community work.
* Provide chronic health care in remote Indigenous settings.
* Work Monday‑Friday, with one day each week spent in Fitzroy Crossing (Fridays) and the remainder visiting communities in Fitzroy Valley.
* Collaborate with AHPs, nursing staff, and GPs/DMOs for referral hospital support.
* Commit to locum periods of at least three weeks, with the option for longer engagements.
* Secure accommodation and travel are provided.
Credentials:
* FRACGP or FACRRM
* Specialist AHPRA registration
* Recent AMS/Indigenous Health experience (desirable)
* Chronic health experience (necessary)
