About The Role
Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in creating safe, welcoming, and well-run environments? Do you thrive in a fast-paced setting where every detail contributes to the comfort and wellbeing of older Australians? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Hotel Services Manager to join our vibrant aged care community in Hope Valley and take the lead in delivering exceptional hotel services across our facility.
Responsibilities
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of catering, laundry, and cleaning services —ensuring every aspect of our residents' living environment is maintained to the highest standard. Reporting directly to the General Manager – Hotel Services, you’ll lead a capable team, support a culture of continuous improvement, and help shape an environment where residents feel at home. Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading hotel services across catering, cleaning and laundry
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort throughout the facility
* Managing staff and day-to-day operations to deliver quality service
* Overseeing budgets and supplies to ensure cost-effective delivery
* Supporting a positive, person-centred experience for residents and families
* Assisting in rostering of staff
* Work collaboratively with our Retirement Living community
About you
You’re a compassionate, proactive leader with extensive experience in the hospitality industry including being a qualified chef. You should have a strong background in managing teams across multiple service areas and take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments that run smoothly and efficiently. Leading by example, you build meaningful connections with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds and foster a collaborative, supportive team culture. Committed to high standards and continuous improvement, you bring a solutions-focused mindset to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment with the successful candidate requiring current NDIS worker clearance. In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
