Wodonga Senior Secondary College is a government year 10 to 12 co‑education school located 1 km from central Wodonga on a 7.84‑hectare campus surrounded by residential housing. The school serves a socially, economically and culturally diverse community, with 15.9 % Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students and 3.1 % students who speak an additional language.

History and Enrolment Trends

Established in 2005‑2006, the college was formed by merging three secondary schools. It now operates with a Middle Years College (years 7‑9) and a Senior College (years 10‑12), working collaboratively to provide pathways from year 7 to career.

Student and Community Demographics

The college currently counts 1 172 students. Over the past five years enrolment has increased. Most students progress from the Middle Years College into year 10 at the Senior College, while 24 % are drawn from neighbouring communities, independent schools and Catholic schools.

Staffing and Leadership Profiles

The college's staff includes 80 % highly experienced teachers, 17 leading teachers, and 56 education support staff (laboratory technicians, librarians, admin, maintenance, IT, trainees). A strong wellbeing team supports students and staff, including social workers, medical staff, a Koorie support mentor, an inclusion support staff member and a Defence Transition Mentor.
