You will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining advanced planning tools that support business planning, forecasting, and operational execution. These tools must be intuitive, dynamic, and robust, enabling multiple stakeholders to access and utilise critical insights effectively.

* Excel & Modeling – Expert in Excel (formulas, Power Query, VBA) and forecasting.
* Problem‐Solving – Build planning tools that support business decisions.
* Data Management – Maintain accurate data in ERP for asset planning.
* Communication – Work with teams to share insights and reports.
* Process Improvement – Improve planning tools and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop & maintain Excel‐based planning tools (12‐week plan, 14‐day plan, capacity models, master plans).
* Create functional models that can be used by non‐technical team members for day‐to‐day planning.
* Conduct forecast modeling & scenario analysis to guide decisions.
* Support business case development with clear, actionable insights.
* Manage data integrity within our ERP system to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
* Provide troubleshooting support for tools you develop, ensuring business continuity.
* Support the annual planning and budgeting process through analysis and modelling of key operational inputs, including routine analysis of labour capacity, turnaround times, and throughput requirements to identify constraints and inform planning adjustments.
* Develop, maintain, and automate planning performance reports and dashboards across all planning horizons to support decision‐making and continuous improvement.
* Provide backup Business Analyst support across business functions as required.
* Champion Zero Harm by actively promoting and demonstrating commitment to a safe workplace in all activities.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years in a similar analytical, planning, or asset management role.
* Mastery of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, Power Query, VBA, automation).
* Experience with financial modeling, asset lifecycle costing, and business planning.
* Ability to translate business needs into functional tools that empower decision‐making.
* Advanced problem‐solving with a keen eye for detail and process improvement.
* Experience with Power BI, JDE, or ERP systems is a plus.
* Mining industry operational experience is highly desirable.
