The National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) is an Australia-wide community of Fire Protection Contractors and their people, suppliers as well as stakeholders, representing a wide and varied Membership. We comprise Members from the smallest sub-contractor through to large Australia-wide businesses. We partner with our Members to enable them to deliver first class quality Fire Protection outcomes to the Australian community.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create strong relationships with our Queensland membership and be responsible for providing timely support. Your role will involve undertaking stakeholder engagement, delivering projects, providing written communications, and will lead the management of Members' Meetings and local events.
This opportunity will suit a highly motivated individual, with a skill for effective stakeholder engagement and a high attention to detail.
Key Accountabilities:
· Undertake Membership and Stakeholder engagement, with a focus on strengthening the engagement of the QLD membership portfolio, primarily through phone call and face-to-face meetings
· Provide advice on industry and other general service delivery to Membership Portfolio
· Lead the development of Membership communications and information
· Develop presentations, briefing papers, and similar corporate documents
· Meeting and event management
· Work as part of the NFIA team to implement our strategic plan and strategic projects
· Delivering strategic projects as directed by the CEO
· Contribute to engagement with a range of government agencies
· Assist with the operational running of NFIA
· Undertake other general duties as directed
About You:
We are looking for a motivated professional with:
· Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience, ideally in a membership or association setting.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· A self-starter with a proactive mindset, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
· A driving licence.
