About the role
Oaka Constructions currently have an exciting portfolio of positions for a motivated Painter to join the Oaka team and grow with the company.
We are currently engaged at various project requiring works in the following;
* Pipelines
* Trenching
* Bulk Earthwork
* Final Trim Earthworks
* Water
* Sewer
* Mine Site Work
* Road Construction
Job tasks and responsibilities
* As part of your role, you will be placed with a team matching your experience and skills, reporting to a Foreman and will work together on one of the projects currently being undertaken.
* Oaka has a range of machines of all difference sizes, which provides continued learning opportunities in the future.
* You must be willing to work away as this role will predominately be based in the Bowen Basin, with camp provided by the company.
* Complete work in a safe and efficient way by following company procedures
* Work together with clients and subcontractors to deliver quality work
* With safety regulations, building codes and clients’ internal WHS guidelines.
* Maintain long-term relationships with clients and subcontractors.
* Reliable, organised, and able to balance efficiency and quality.
* Strong communication skills
Qualifications & Training Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified Plant Operators
* Dogman Ticket and at least 6 months experience
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Conscientious with great attention to detail
* A positive and professional attitude
* Hold a QLD Driver’s License
* Be physically fit and able
* Driver’s licence
* White Card
