Sharp & Carter are proud to be partnering with New Era to assist in finding their next eCommerce Operations Manager to take ownership of New Era's Direct-to-Consumer digital storefront and help scale one of the most iconic brands in sport and fashion.
This is a hands-on, highly commercial role that sits at the intersection of eCommerce trading, merchandising, inventory strategy and operational excellence.
As the primary owner of the New Era online store, you'll drive performance across headwear and apparel, ensuring the digital shelf is impeccably executed, inventory is optimised and each product drop lands with impact.
You'll work closely with local and global teams across Digital, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Product - turning strategy into execution and data into growth.
What you'll be responsible for:
* Owning the end-to-end eCommerce trading calendar, from evergreen performance to seasonal launches and hype drops
* Leading product merchandising, site mapping and PDP optimisation to maximise conversion
* Managing inventory health using SAP - driving weeks cover, replenishment and stock accuracy
* Overseeing buying, demand planning and Open-To-Buy (OTB) management
* Ensuring seamless GTM execution, from product upload to go‐live
* Optimising the Shopify Plus ecosystem and supporting CRO initiatives
* Partnering with Marketing to ensure the right products are in front of the right customer at the right time
* Turning Shopify, GA4 and internal reporting into clear commercial actions
What you'll bring:
* 3+ years' experience in eCommerce operations, merchandising, buying or inventory management
* Strong hands-on experience with Shopify (ideally Plus) and SAP
* Commercial mindset with a solid grasp of P&L, margin and stock management
* Confidence managing complex workflows and global stakeholders
* A detail-driven, solutions-first approach in a fast-paced environment
* A genuine interest in sport, fashion and digital retail
