Our client is seeking multiple Production Assemblers who take pride in their work and are eager to grow to join their team located in the Northern Suburbs.
The Production Assembler is responsible for operating machinery and equipment to produce products to required specifications. This role supports the efficient flow of production in a workshop environment, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.
The role offers 40 hours a week Monday – Friday 6am starts, full training, long-term stability and the opportunity to work with a well-established Australian manufacturer.
What you'll be doing:
* Operate industrial machines and tools used in footwear production
* Assemble footwear components according to production specifications and quality standard
* Inspect materials and finished footwear for defects or inconsistencies
* Follow work instructions and production schedules
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Report any faults or safety concerns to a supervisor and/or WHS representative
* Work collaboratively with team members and other departments
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred
* Experience in machines operations preferred
* Have the ability to work in a team environment & follow direction
* Great attention to detail with a strong work ethic
* Be physically fit & motivated to undertake manual & repetitive tasks
* Be a dedicated worker, punctual and flexibility to do overtime when required
