About The Role
We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurses to join our dynamic clinical team on a part-time or casual basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster, limited weekend work and no public holidays.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
* Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
* Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
* Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
* Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
* Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
* Solid experience in Anaesthetic nursing in a perioperative environment
* Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
* Current AHPRA registration
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
* Experience in below specialties desirable

About Vermont Private Hospital
Vermont Private Hospital is a modern purpose-built day surgery/ short stay hospital with excellent facilities, specialising in Ophthalmology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgeries, Orthopaedic, Oral & maxillofacial, Vascular, Interventional Pain Services.
Our hospital includes 5 fully integrated operating theatres, stage 1 and stage 2 recovery areas and a 19 bed overnight ward.
