Lead the next generation of Freeski Athletes

Join our Winter Sports leadership team where progression, creativity, and coaching excellence shape the next generation of Freeski athletes.

As a Freeski Head Coach, you'll lead the planning and delivery of Freeski programs, including oversight of Winter Sports Club athlete pathways across slopestyle, big air, halfpipe, and all‐mountain freestyle development. You'll set the standard for coaching quality, athlete development, and team performance, ensuring programs are engaging, inclusive, and aligned to long‐term progression.

You'll foster a high‐performing coaching team, support both recreational and competitive athletes, and maintain a strong focus on athlete‐centred experiences, communication, and wellbeing.

Working closely with Snowsports leadership and resort stakeholders, you'll ensure safe, structured, and progressive training environments while contributing to a culture of excellence across our Freeski programs.

What You'll Be Doing

* Lead and oversee Freeski programs, ensuring high‐quality delivery across training and competition environments
* Plan and coordinate seasonal programming across slopestyle, big air, halfpipe, and all‐mountain freestyle development
* Mentor, support, and develop coaching staff to lift overall coaching standards and consistency
* Oversee day‐to‐day program coordination, including scheduling, communication, and logistics
* Provide direct coaching and mentorship across a range of athlete levels, including terrain park and competition environments
* Ensure consistent program delivery, reporting, and athlete progression tracking
* Oversee athlete conduct on and off snow, promoting a positive and professional team culture
* Liaise with Skier Services, Terrain Parks, Operations, and coaching teams to ensure safe and effective training environments
* Maintain a strong focus on safety, risk management, and professional standards across all activities
* Adapt to changing conditions, operational needs, and program demands in a dynamic alpine environment

What You'll Bring

* Advanced Freeski coaching or instructor certification with freestyle or competition coaching experience.Examples include:– APSI Level 3 or above, with relevant freestyle experience– Equivalent international freeski coaching or instructor certifications with strong park and pipe experience
* Proven experience leading or supporting Freeski programs, with coaching and administrative responsibilities
* Minimum of three (3) seasons coaching Freeski athletes, with strong technical and freestyle fundamentals
* Strong understanding of athlete development pathways across slopestyle, big air, halfpipe, and broader Freeski progression
* Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop coaches within a team environment
* Experience coaching in terrain park and competition environments, including safe progression practices
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage athletes, families, coaches, and stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance coaching, planning, and operational responsibilities
* Positive, adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced and dynamic alpine environment
* Commitment to safety, professionalism, and creating an inclusive, high‐performing team culture
