So, what does the role entail?
As a Registered Nurse You Will
* Conduct clinical and personal care duties, with a holistic approach to in-home patient care.
* Provide clinical judgement, creativity and sensitivity to develop care plans that are aligned to the client's assessed needs.
* Monitor chronic and palliative conditions.
* Assess wounds and attend to dressings as per the care plan.
* Monitor and assist clients to use continence devices and change the IDC and SPC.
* Assist with showering, bathing, shaving, dressing, toileting and denture care, and a range of other personal care duties.
* Provide a high level of holistic care including social, emotional, spiritual support.
We Are Looking For Someone With
* Unrestricted AHPRA Registration, with a minimum 2 years practicing as an RN.
* Experience in Aged Care and Community Home Care customer service skills is desirable.
* Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001).
* The right to work in Australia.
* A current driver license, registration and access to your own car.
* National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (myHomecare will organise via WorkPro at no cost).
* Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
* Willingness to complete a Pre-Employment Medical prior to commencement.
