With a strong project pipeline and long-term investment strategy, they are expanding their commercial leadership capability to support complex project delivery and asset growth.The OpportunityOur Client is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial strategy, contract negotiations and risk management across major infrastructure and renewable energy projects. This role will play a critical part from late-stage development through construction and into operations, with a strong focus on Balance of Plant (BoP) contracting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial strategy across large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projectsManage and negotiate complex contracts Own commercial risk assessment, mitigation strategies and contractual governanceSupport tendering processes, bid evaluations and commercial approvalsLead contract negotiations with Tier 1 contractors and key delivery partnersProvide commercial input through project development, construction and handoverManage variations, claims, disputes and commercial reportingPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and in line with commercial objectivesQualificationsDegree in Commerce, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related disciplinePostgraduate or legal qualifications advantageous but not essentialStrong Balance of Plant (BoP) contracting experience is essentialDemonstrated success negotiating high-value, complex contractsStrong understanding of Australian construction and energy contracting frameworksCommercially astute with excellent risk management capabilityConfident engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders
