About the role:
These newly created positions, within an established team, will support injured Victoria Police employees throughout the WorkCover claim and compensation process. Utilising your excellent customer service skills you will provide quality, timely service and support through the administration and coordination for claims, including processing of compensation transactions in accordance with Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013and Victoria Police policies and procedures.

Your duties will include:
1. WorkCover claims administration and management.
2. Maintaining associated systems and records.
3. Calculation and processing of weekly compensation entitlements.
4. Managing internal and external stakeholder communication to ensure effective collaboration and productivity.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
5. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and communication skills
6. Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Excellent attention to detail and time management.
8. Knowledge of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 and the competency to interpret relevant enterprise agreements, policies and procedures is highly desirable.
9. Proficiency in the use of SAP and Microsoft applications is highly desirable.
10. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
Requirements and relevant information:
11. Two (2) x full-time, ongoing position available.
12. This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
13. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
14. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
15. In accordance with organisational policy, all Victoria Police employees are required to be fully vaccinated (including a booster vaccination) against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exception. As such your employment with Victoria Police is subject to providing evidence of your vaccination status.
