THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Educator (Cert III or Diploma qualified) to join our collaborative and reflective team.
This is a full-time, hands-on role working alongside educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences that reflect children's interests while intentionally supporting school readiness and developmental outcomes.
We are looking for an educator who values community connection, contributes thoughtfully to reflective practice, and brings a proactive, positive attitude to our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work collaboratively with the educating team to implement engaging, play-based programs aligned with the EYLF.
* Support the delivery of our school readiness program through intentional teaching and meaningful learning experiences.
* Contribute to observations, documentation, and reflective discussions that drive continuous improvement.
* Build respectful, responsive relationships with children and families.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Contribute to community connections and centre initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
* Previous experience in an early childhood setting.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated reflective practice that contributes to ongoing improvement.
* A positive, initiative-taking attitude and willingness to contribute beyond the basics.
* Genuine passion for collaborative, community-based early education.
* Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
* NSW Working With Children Check.
* Child Protection training.
* All required certifications, including HLTAID012 First Aid and CPR certification, must be obtained before commencing employment.
* Full working rights in Australia.

Remuneration in accordance with the Children's Services Award [MA000120], based on qualification and experience.
