About the Role
The Finance Partner builds and maintains strong business relationships between the Financial Services Unit and assigned Faculties and/or Divisions. The role provides financial information, insight and advice to support informed strategic decision‐making and effective financial management aligned with University objectives.
Role Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for strategic and operational financial advice for assigned Faculties or Divisions.
* Support the development, monitoring and reporting of budgets, forecasts and longer‐term financial plans.
* Lead the review and delivery of month‐end management reporting, including variance analysis and insights.
* Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decision‐making.
* Contribute to projects and initiatives that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of financial management services.
* Support compliance, data integrity and statutory reporting obligations, including research grant reporting where required.

Experience
* Extensive experience in financial management and/or financial analysis.
* Experience providing financial advice and insights to senior stakeholders.
* Experience leading and managing finance teams or specialist staff.
* Experience working in a complex organisational environment with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Full membership of a recognised professional accounting body (ACA or CPA), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
What We Offer
* Base Salary Range: $140,965 - $147,678 (HEW9) plus 17% superannuation (pension).
* The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
