The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of mobile maintenance activities.

Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold / Copper mines, located 160 km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector Southwest deposits.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of mobile maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards to maximise equipment availability and reliability.
This position will be offered on an 8 : 6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton.
Key Responsibilities of this Role Will Include :
Oversee preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for all mobile fleet
Ensure maintenance work meets OEM specifications, site procedures, and statutory requirements
Coordinate field service work and breakdown response to minimise equipment downtime
Liaise with the Maintenance Planner to ensure effective scheduling and resource allocation
Assist in developing and improving maintenance strategies and procedures
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and production standards
Maintain relationships with external service providers and ensure access to critical parts and equipment
Utilise Pronto or similar CMMS to monitor asset reliability, availability, and cost-effectiveness
Support the development of operational and sustaining capital budgets for mobile plant
Communicate effectively during shift changes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting / Mechanical (or equivalent)
Significant experience in mobile plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry
Demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory role
Strong technical knowledge of mobile equipment maintenance practices
WA Driver's Licence (Manual C Class)
Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training – Level 4
Safety-focused, organised, and committed to continuous improvement
Able to collaborate with Maintenance, Mining, and other site departments
