About the role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician or 4th Year Apprentice to join our team at C.F Electrical in Bathurst, NSW. You will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services to our residential, commercial and mining clients in the local area. This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair work
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
- Testing and inspecting electrical systems and equipment
- Installing and maintaining mining electrical infrastructure
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical codes and safety standards
- Providing exceptional customer service and liaising with clients
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified Electrician with a current electrical license or a 4th Year Apprentice
- Candidates may apply with either full qualification or 4th year apprentice status
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a commercial or residential setting
- Minimum 1 year experience working in development hard rock mining
- Mining experience may be gained in any mining environment including underground, open pit, or other mining operations
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, installation, maintenance, and repair
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
