HSE Advisor

Site allowances paid (including when on RNR)
Full-time employment with entitlements
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Ensuring all health and safety policies and systems are fit for purpose, compliant and according to the overall objectives of the organisation
Ensuring company continues to meet or exceed the certification/accreditation requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 4801.
Ensuring all HSE systems and processes are appropriately documented, implemented and communicated
Carry out workplace inspections, audits and internal site compliance audits.
Complete all required internal and external reporting when needed
Investigate incidents and events and complete reporting within required time frames.
Follow all PPE requirements, lead by example and provide training where required on any PPE or policies existing and recent.
Build, develop and maintain robust working relationships with the Client/Principal Contractor at all times
Requirements:
Previous mining/construction site based experience
Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite - MS Word and MS Excel
Ability to communicate assertively and effectively with management, trades staff and client representatives
C" class Motor Vehicle License
