A large energy infrastructure delivery organisation is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of capital and network projects across New South Wales.
This role sits within a delivery-focused environment and works in close partnership with Project Managers, Engineering leads and Contract Managers. You will be responsible for setting and maintaining consistent commercial strategy, managing risk and contractual obligations, and supporting strong commercial outcomes across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial workstreams across multiple energy infrastructure projects
* Develop and apply consistent commercial and contracting strategies
* Partner with Project Managers to support effective project delivery
* Work closely with Contract Managers on variations, claims and risk management
* Ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and met
* Provide commercial input into procurement, delivery models and risk allocation
* Support commercial governance, reporting and executive decision-making
* Engage with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners
About You
* 10–15 years' experience in commercial management within energy or infrastructure delivery environments
* Background in engineering, law, commerce or a related discipline
* Strong experience managing complex contracts and commercial frameworks
* Demonstrated ability to operate across a portfolio of concurrent projects
* Comfortable working in technically complex, regulated environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability
* Commercially astute, structured and delivery-oriented
