The craft requires a range of materials including solid wood, plywood, and laminate. Working closely with clients is essential to understand their requirements and preferences.
The process involves using both hand and power tools for shaping and assembly, followed by finishing techniques like staining or painting to enhance the final appearance.
Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Cabinet Maker Apprentices. This hands-on role will provide valuable training and skills in woodworking, design, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the fabrication and installation of custom cabinets and furniture.
* Develop skills in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
* Learn to use woodworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
* Support experienced cabinet makers in all stages of production.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. You should also have a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
