Business Development Manager - Software Sales
We're seeking an enthusiastic, results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in Perth. As the Business Development Manager, you\'ll be on the front lines of our sales team, introducing innovative solutions to prospective customers. You\'ll identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs, and help engineers and manufacturers transform their designs to production.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate sales, primarily SolidWorks 3D Mechanical Design software including Simulation, Product Data & Lifecycle Management software applications, and other products/services as required.
* Create and execute a territory plan in collaboration with the team to create value to the customer base and prospects.
* Manage sales pipeline to consistently exceed assigned sales goals within assigned territory.
* Collaborate with sales team, Vendors representatives' pre-sales engineers and other technical staff to coordinate and conduct demonstrations.
* Present and demo technical software (will be trained)
* Drive incremental revenue within assigned accounts - owning and closing deals end to end to meet or exceed quota.
* Map key stakeholders, technical requirements and business process on all deals.
* Drive opportunity management of volume opportunities. Focus on insuring customer needs are understood and addressed in the sales process.
* Manage all leads and opportunities in assigned territory using our CRM reporting tool.
* Prepare and maintain detailed sales forecasts and present them to management.
Required Skills & Knowledge
* Experience in providing technical consultation to clients, ideally in software solutions.
* A proven track record in sales, selling CAD or technical software.
* Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
* A self-starter with strong time management and organisation.
* Passion for technology, design, and problem-solving.
