Remuneration: Approx. $120,000 – $120,000 p.a. + Superannuation
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Village Manager to oversee the mobilisation and then daily operations of our 350 room town based mining accommodation site. This village is 10 minutes drive to amenities and Kalgoorlie airport with a local and FIFO workforce. This role is ideal for someone with proven Mobilisation Managerial experience and a solid background in Safety First leadership. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of leading by example, excellent training and mentoring skills, ability to communicate effectively with clients and company management, a real focus on the safety of our guests and team, all while ensuring smooth and profitable operation across all areas of the business.
Successful candidates would need to be available to commence in the role from the 9th February 2026 for a late February mobilisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support the Drummond team, including front office, cleaning, transport and kitchen staff.
* Manage retail and alcohol sales in line with all legislation and scope compliance.
* Conduct and maintain daily audits across all operational areas to ensure standards are maintained.
* Manage village operations and assist and lead administrative staff with daily tasks.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef and Operations Manager of the company to maintain service excellence, scope adherence and client satisfaction.
* Lead weekly KPI and monthly toolbox meetings and ensure accurate reporting.
* Train, mentor, and supervise staff, ensuring all daily tasks are completed efficiently.
* Actively manage site rostering, manning and flights booking processes and compliance
* Assist Head Office with recruitment specific to your site
* Conduct performance reviews at required intervals
Essential Requirements:
* Proven managerial experience in a similar role within the industry.
* Must possess and be able and willing to drive a strong safety culture.
* Excellent working knowledge of INX In control booking and safety system.
* Demonstrated management experience minimum 5 years.
* Ability to train and manage staff effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure completion of daily tasks.
* Full Western Australian driver's license.
* Current Police Check and LAB DAS certification.
* First Aid Certificate
* Food Safety Supervisor Course
* Current Approved Managers Certificate
* Available to start no later then the 9th February 2026.
