About the role
TrailerWorks' is seeking multiple talented tradespeople, including diesel fitters, to join our thriving manufacturing operation in Charlton, Queensland. This is a full-time opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What you'll be doing
* Carrying out welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks to the highest standards
* Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to complete jobs accurately
* Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
* Conducting repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and equipment, as appropriate for diesel fitters
* Inspecting work to identify and resolve any quality issues
* Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and on-time delivery
* Continually seeking ways to improve processes and increase productivity
What we're looking for
* Formal trade qualifications in welding, boilermaking, and/or diesel fitting, or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in a similar manufacturing, fabrication, or diesel fitting role
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
