Boilermaker or 2nd Class Welder – Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Chermside, QLD
Hours: Mon–Thurs 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Early finish on fridays
Pay: $38–$45/hr + Super (depending on experience)

Join a great local team working on the fabrication and welding of metal components for the mining, irrigation, and civil sectors.
This is a hands-on role with a strong safety culture and long-term opportunities for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings and work orders for fabrication tasks
Perform MIG/TIG welding and general fabrication to spec
Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on finished work
Operate factory cranes and lifting equipment safely (training provided)
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
What We're After
Trade qualification or experience as a Boilermaker / 2nd Class Welder
Ability to read technical drawings and measure accurately
Confident operating hand tools, grinders, and welding equipment
Good communication, literacy, and teamwork skills
Safety-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
