Key Responsibilities
Utilize catastrophe modeling software to assess clients' exposure to natural hazards such as earthquakes, cyclones, and bushfires. Refine models with client data and scientific research.
Primary tasks include:
* Catastrophe model development and maintenance;
* Client data analysis in MS Excel or SQL;
* Interpreting complex findings into clear insights;
* Building relationships with internal and external clients;
* Contributing to climate advisory projects.

Requirements for success
* Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking;
* Tertiary qualifications in natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, or statistics;
* Knowledge of catastrophe modeling software (desired);
* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Word, SQL, and PowerPoint;
* Comfortable in client-facing environments with excellent communication skills;
* Insurance or reinsurance experience;
* Proficiency in VBA, Python, R, Tableau/PowerBI, or AI tools an advantage.
