* Continuing Contingent* appointment | Part time (0.6 FTE) | 21 hrs/week | Tue–Thu
* Level 5: $84,002 - $94,998 pro-rata + 17% Superannuation
* Based at UOW Southern Highlands Campus with occasional travel to Nowra and Wollongong.

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Skills Officer to support simulation based teaching and examinations for medical students in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. You'll help coordinate the Simulated Patient (SP) Program, working closely with community volunteers to deliver realistic clinical learning experiences. The role involves administrative support and positive engagement with students, staff, and volunteers.

About you

You work comfortably with a broad range of stakeholders, including academics, clinicians, students, volunteers and community members. You understand how volunteer programs operate and how to support and motivate volunteers effectively. You're organised and reliable, able to follow policies, manage confidential information appropriately and keep on top of priorities in a busy environment. You communicate clearly, work well both independently and in a team, and have solid skills using standard Microsoft Office tools.

This position requires the incumbent to reside rurally in a Modified Monash Model: (MM2+) region: https://www.health.gov.au/topics/rural-health-workforce/classifications/mmm
