Fire Protection Engineering Specialist
We are seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Building Fire Protection Services Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of fire safety and protection.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning, with a strong desire to contribute to the development of innovative fire protection solutions.
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Wet and Dry fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, smoke control, and passive fire safety solutions. You will also work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate services solutions seamlessly into building designs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and relevant Local Authorities to ensure compliance with Australian fire codes, standards, and local authority requirements for safety and legal compliance.
* Designing and implementing fire hydrant and fire hose reel systems, sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and other special suppression systems.
* Report writing and creation of project specifications.
* Mentoring peers and contributing to the development of junior staff members.

* Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
