Overview
The Australian and Queensland governments have committed $9 billion for the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program, marking the largest investment in the highway. The initiative aims to reduce crash severity and frequency through measures such as wide centre line treatments, audio tactile line marking, intersection upgrades, rest areas, pavement strengthening, overtaking lanes and upgrades to narrow structures.

Job Requirements
* Manage routine and programmed maintenance programs, and road rehabilitation programs within the district
* Manage and co-ordinate contract performance and construction practices
* Maintain and apply relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements
* Ensure quality and environmental aspects are identified and addressed
* Provide support and advice on planning and design suitability and options
* Supervise and coordinate resource allocation
