Rise with Westin Perth
The Westin Perth is a luxury retreat, perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. A rejuvenating haven with luxury accommodation, 5-star amenities and a dynamic City Centre location. We expect this role to commence in the new year.
You will:
* Handle local corporate, social catering and wedding opportunities that come directly to the property.
* Identify, qualify and solicit new catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
* Execute and support the operational aspects of business including generating proposals, writing contracts and customer correspondence.
* Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and via email.
* Conduct site inspections,
* Contract and close business and deliver a seamless turnover from sales to event planning while consistently delivering a high level of service.
* Understand the overall market and competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and knows how to sell against them.
* Close the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.
* Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
* Maximize revenue through up-selling on packages.
* Assist with selling, implementation and follow-through of catering promotions.
You are / have:
* Friendly, confident, vibrant and professional personality
* Previous experience is desirable, and ideally in hotels, event sales or events planning.
* Full Time Australian working rights
* Excellent Computer and Office 365 knowledge
