Join Merri‐bek City Council as a hybrid, part‐time (0.6 FTE) Festivals Communications and Partnerships Officer. The role works under the Executive Producer – Festivals to plan, develop and implement marketing, audience engagement and development functions for the Arts Merri‐bek festival program, while identifying and maintaining strategic partnership and sponsorship relationships across the program.
Responsibilities
* Plan, develop and implement marketing plans for the Arts Merri‐bek festival program.
* Develop audience engagement and development strategies.
* Identify and maintain strategic partnership and sponsorship relationships.
* Deliver stakeholder events.
* Work within tight timelines and budget constraints.
* Think analytically, strategically and creatively to deliver quality outcomes.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated marketing experience in the arts, festivals, events, film or music industries.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing and editing for a variety of audiences and at diverse media.
* Ability to work flexibly, effectively and cooperatively within a small team in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience with sponsorship and stakeholder management.
* Experience in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is highly regarded.
* High level computer literacy.
