Job Title: Field Research Officer
Job Description:
We are seeking resilient and professional Field Research Officers to join our organization on a landmark national study exploring the impact of life in Australia on mental health and wellbeing.
As a Field Research Officer, you will visit assigned households, conduct structured face-to-face interviews with people who agree to participate, and deliver high-quality evidence used by policymakers to shape better services and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Visit assigned households and initiate conversations with participants.
* Build rapport quickly and manage refusals and objections respectfully.
* Follow safety and privacy protocols, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
* Plan your weekly schedule including at least one weekend day.
* Work between 20 and 30 hours per week.
Requirements:
* Availability of 20+ hours per week (including one weekend day).
* Current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
* Fluent English (spoken and written) and the legal right to work in Australia.
* Willingness to obtain and pass a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (paid by the organization).
