McKinlay Shire Council is seeking an experienced Final Trim Grader Operator to join our Works Department. This role involves carrying out civil construction and maintenance tasks across the Shire, ensuring high-quality road infrastructure for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Final Trim Grading – precision grading for current road pavements, re-sheeting, and construction.
Maintenance Grading – unsealed roads, road shoulders, open drains, and general road maintenance.
Plant Maintenance – servicing and maintaining equipment in line with Council policies.
Equipment Reporting – promptly reporting faults or issues to the job supervisor.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in Final Trim Grading for road and drainage construction/maintenance.
Current Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card).
Valid Plant Operator Tickets/Certificates of Competency.
