 
        
        Job Summary
A Tunnel System Specialist will join our team to monitor, maintain and configure operational management and control systems (OMCS) in a 24/7 environment. This includes OMCS equipment, software, tunnel safety technologies and associated infrastructure.
This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with PLCs, enterprise servers and network platforms. You'll work collaboratively with vendors and internal stakeholders to minimise downtime and restore failed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Attend to reported failures of OMCS equipment and software on a rotating callout roster.
 * Conduct monitoring, preventative maintenance, configuration, and backup of OMCS infrastructure.
 * Act as the first point of contact for OMCS issues, triaging and directing faults to the appropriate internal or external team.
 * Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues.
 * Maintain detailed records of system faults, defects, and maintenance activities.
Required Skills & Experience
 * Proven experience maintaining SCADA/industrial control/safety-critical systems.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills across virtual platforms, operating systems, and software.
 * Hands-on experience with PLCs, enterprise servers, and network platforms.
 * Cert IV or higher in Control Systems, Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or Communication Networks, or equivalent professional experience.
 * Current Australian driver's licence.
