About the Role:
We are seeking an energetic and motivated warehouse / operations person for our Thornton branch.
This role will be responsible for all warehouse and operations duties, including stock control, receipting and dispatch of goods, processing of sales orders, invoicing and liaising with our US office for all shipping lead times and documentation.
You will be working closely with the NSW Operations & Customer Service officer regarding orders and inventory meetings to ensure accurate inventory and DIFOT targets are met.

Work Hours: School Hours (09:00 to 2:30pm) Mon - Fri, inclusive of 30min unpaid meal. Option to change hours during Summer to support the WA team (11:30am to 5pm).
Responsibilities:
1. Shipping and logistics, uploading and filing of all documentation.
2. Processing stock in / out: Receiving, labelling and organising inventory in bin locations in the warehouse.
3. Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and within company timeframes.
4. Monitor lead times and stock availability to achieve DIFOT (delivery in full on time) goals.
5. Conduct regular stock counts and audits, reporting any discrepancies to management.
6. Maintaining the warehouse in a clean, tidy, and organised manner.
7. Liaise with APS USA team regarding backorder and shipment status.
8. Adhere to company policies & procedures including OH&S.
9. Be proactive and identify efficiency improvements within the NSW warehouse.
Requirements:
1. Great communication and time management skills.
2. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
3. Commitment to workplace health and safety.
4. Experience with stock control systems (APS uses Netsuite and Netstock).
5. Ability and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
6. Motivated and excited to learn new skills and products.
7. Competent in Microsoft Office & willingness to learn new systems.
8. Physically fit with the capacity to move stock within the warehouse according to safe work practices.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in warehouse, operations, store person environment (minimum 2+ yrs desirable).
2. Inventory / stock control (minimum 2 yrs desirable).
3. Warehouse certifications (desirable).
