Finance Assistant - Accounts Receivable
A maternity leave replacement position is available for a part-time Finance Assistant to work in the accounts receivable team at St John's College, Woodlawn. The role will assist with managing cash flow, processing invoices and receipts, and providing administrative support to the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and manage cash flow, including receipting and bank reconciliations
* Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements
* Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Requirements:
* A valid NSW Working with Children Check
* The ability to handle tasks with a high degree of confidentiality
* A working knowledge of WH&S and equity in employment principles and policies
* Well-developed communication, administrative and office skills
* Ability to deal tactfully, confidently and effectively with people at all levels
* Capacity to show initiative and demonstrate effective time management, organisational and planning skills
* Highly developed skills in Microsoft applications, with willingness and ability to learn new systems
* Previous experience in a school office would be desirable
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time temporary position, working 21 hours per week from June 2025 until the end of Term 1 2026.
